3) An RLL Bid Group may be placed above or below a Reserve Bid Group

I believe the plain-jane "prefer off Saturdays" and "avoid landings in ATL" are allowed in the RLL bid group.
You are correct. You just can't have an ESN or CSSN in the bid group prior to your RLL.

Technically (unless I'm mistaken, which happens often), you can't have that in the last regular bid group preceding your RLL bid group. You could have a reserve bid group containing ESN or CSSN immediately preceding an RLL bid group.

In any case, PBS keeps you honest and won't you violate that rule in your bid.

Yup, words matter. I'm fairly certain you're correct on that as well.

Reading bout RLL it says that people entering/leaving category can affect the cutoff line. Will senior people bidding reserve affect it as well?

Anyone with experience on these able to weigh in? I'm right below the cutoff.

Thanks!

If you are below the RLL limit, you will not get an RLL. The RLL is only awarded IF you are senior the RLL published and there is no way for PBS to build you a line without clear schedule or else start next.

….. but since we’re here. RLL’s are another tool where we could practice some mutual cooperation for QOL. We’ve probably had seasons where we might like the option to create a schedule, via PBS and pre-20th of the month, that has a lower obligation to fly. Especially if skeds is purposely going to lock up blue/black days with preposted ‘rest’.
