Default Speed Trap (MSP MEM??)

For those driving on Poplar between I240 and points east, MPD has a speed trap set up west of Massey and east of Ridgeway. It's targeted at us. The officer said that I was the second "Airline Pilot" he had nailed that night.

Easy fix. Don't speed. If you are speeding, I hope you get caught, ticketed and your insurance premium increases. Besides, isn't promoting illegal activity against this site's terms of service?

I've been taking note of MPD camping out on that stretch of Poplar since this weekend. Didn't consider they were actively looking for speeders. You must have been going really fast since it seems to this out of stater that it's a requirement that you do at least 15 to 20 over the posted speed limit just to keep from being ran over from behind.

I don't see that this promotes anything. It's just an anecdote.

Moved to Hangar Flying.

Isn't the speed limit 80? You really must have been going fast. My car refuses to do a knot under 75 on 240. I get some of my best NASCAR driving practice on that road!

From the title I thought this was about someone speeding flying between Minneapolis and Memphis.
