This is a big one, in my opinion... (bold by me)

”Enhanced Retirement Program participants will receive a Retiree Medical Account of at least $100,000 that can be used to reimburse eligible healthcare expenses in retirement.”

Well the S3A is moot since 9E gets single-option positive space to and from work now ;)

How many hours does the retirement program say are in a week for full-time employees?
(Part time is 25 hours.)

FA friend said her multiplier was 18.5 hours a week. So, about 80 hours a month.

That will be short lived for the duration of the crisis.

Mainline gets positive space to/from work right now too, that won't last forever either.

Yesterday I actually flew a guy non-reving, I asked why he didn't positive space (assumed he was commuting) and he said, "nope, going to visit my dad". So at some point S3 / S3A / S3B will become meaningful again.

As for the S3A's included in the non-con package, that DOES remove however many Endeavor active employees from the mix because surely the retired Delta are going to be MUCH more senior than most active Endeavor.

The non-pilot retirement package includes (and question of my own):
  • Severance pay
    • Anyone know the formula, or any details really? I'm surprised the company that continually says "Cash is King" is offering a lump sum right now.
  • Healthcare for up to 24 months
    • The FAQ says "Delta will pay medical, dental and vision premiums for a period of time". From the way it's written, that could mean 100% of premiums or just the company's current portion (70%, I believe?). Has that been addressed? The HRA account of "at least $100,000" is quite impressive, though. If I were anywhere near retirement, that would probably get me to go.
  • Pass travel
    • One yr of active, then retirement travel for qualified personnel. Didn't United offer 5 years of active travel? At only one year, that doesn't seem to offer too much considering we don't actually fly many places these days. Eight positive space passes would sure entice some people, though.
For only having three prongs, it seems halfway decent. Not earth shattering, but definitely something enticing. I'm interested to see how these programs translate into a program for pilots. How much in the way of differences will the company allow?

We’re at day 2 of big MEC meetings, info to/from NC, etc. Any semi credible rumor on early out package negotiations?

been radio silence from DALPA and Company. I would think conversion training dates and Early out will be out by Friday

I’ve heard it through the grapevine the company has acknowledged to ALPA they screwed up not offering SILs. Perhaps that’s a ray of sunshine they may alter course a bit. Not overwhelmingly hopeful but I suppose it’s possible?

"U.S. carrier Delta Air Lines on Wednesday forecast a 90% plunge in second-quarter revenue and warned it would need to renegotiate its debt agreements to avoid a default next year."

This is the first I've seen a default mentioned...

The authors must have edited the article because I do not see any mention of the word "default.".
