Are we - supposedly the most resilient airline - the only one talking about this? I can't find anything on the other major carriers.

AAs debt is at very low rates and does not require service for several years. They will have merged with DAL, sold off unwanted DAL assets and paid down the debt by then.

Not sure about UAL.

Our debt matures earlier than AA. Not sure about United, they're probably in the same boat.

Okay, a solid “What the F@ck!!??” to both the company and ALPA. How is it that EVERYONE has gone NORDO for weeks? Silence does not instill confidence.

As my grandmother used to say, “This is no way to run a railroad!” Wish the guy running the railroad (Amtrak) was back running our company.

Last I talked to my rep, the company gave us their idea, which was lacking, we sent our proposal then the company showed movement in the right direction and this special session that ends today is supposed to give guidance to the negotiating committee for what we would like next. So any day now....right

EB - so sorry, see the nice carrot? It’s yours, free, just because we like you. Don’t mind JL there behind you.

JL - big optimized bat smacks you over head.

EB - those pilots, ha ha, they fall for it every time! Now I’m tired, gonna take a nap.

EB did mention in the townhall relaxing the pursuit of efficiencies in the name of spreading work around to preserve jobs, and I believe he mentioned a number of work groups, including pilots when he said it. He also said they weren’t interested in furloughing (employees in general) only to hire people back. Now, what the eventual gap is between what they say and what they do . . .
