If the company was trying to have another major flying our domestic passengers, I’d be as mad as a fire ant on meth. If we were furloughing while JB was flying our domestic passengers that would be completely unsat. Bad enough having regional companies doing it now, but that’s a new level. They have AS flying their west coast feed and JB on the east coast. I’m surprised AA scope allows it.

so, like Delta with Alaska pre-SEA hub? Or Delta with NW/CO pre-merger?

You guys are a piece of work.

And yes, it is bad enough that you farm out half your flying to regionals. At least the JB pilots make industry standard pay and retirement unlike the sweat shop regionals you all outsource your jobs to.

Yea, not to mention all the JV’s with bottom of the barrel international carriers flying routes that should be flown by DL heavy metal. Lol.

Isn't it crazy how people who flew white slips and greenslips routinely think that reset their pay to a 90to 110 hour alv so a reduction to say 65hours is a 45 hour cut to them.. same who lived outside their means, didnt bank any of that overtime now want to be greedy again and screwing fellow pilots put the door. Nice

XJ? Hmmm....took a while to get to a major apparently. Maybe you don’t have a clue about somebody’s circumstances. Could it be an older guy trying to save for retirement. Someone else with a family member with large out of pocket medical bills. Maybe just ****.

Jaguar produced an XJ in 1986. Jeep produced a 1986 XJ as well.

I learned to drive in an ‘86 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Fake wood paneling and all. It was a beast!

“JB couldn’t care less about their product and couldn’t care less about their employees. It is such a stark difference with America’s most successful airline currently.”

“JB loses another one to Delta! Soon they will be running out of people to fill the seats. JB can't compete with Delta's widebody opportunities and more diverse base options, so how can they compete?”

“I find it entertaining when legacy guys come here to sh#t on us. There's the Atlanta flavor which is obliviously douchey, then there's the Chicago variety which is more maliciously douchey. Very odd, but entertaining that some guys need to boost their egos in such a fashion. And unfortunate. I don't think any of us are going to their forums to pick a fight..... because there's no reason to.”

I'm so glad you took the time to dig back into two posturing posts from contract negotiations! (And one post that is timeless, as is evidenced from The World's Best Pilots' breathless shock that their scope clause isn't anywhere close to as tight as JetBlue's, yet this deal is bringing down the industry!:D) Good to see the oblivious and the malicious haven't given up their roles.

That’s exactly what I’d expect management to say..
