Is that what I've been doing all this time? Toggling rapidly.

...and you'd be correct sir. I'm NOT saying there is ANY chance of Ed being forced out. All I'm saying is that the pilot group shouldn't consider concessions until the execs give the billion dollars back to the company and Ed resigns.

He might be too busy making another social issues video.

Not that there is anything wrong with that...

No, I think it’s Doug at AA you’re thinking of, but I did fly with an FA that had Ed in first class last winter when he was going on vacation (out west, I think), and said he had many cocktails. It was hard to keep up.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that, as long as he didn’t get in a car and drive after the flight.

I've been through this at other places where people think an exec resigning will open the door to a "labor friendly, treat the pilots like the skygods they are", type of manager. It won't. The next guy in, you'll hate just as much. Look at the business. Before corona, we were firing on all cylinders. I don't begrudge Ed. It's business for him and it's business for us. Don't let your emotions cloud that. As much as things suck now, I'd much rather have Ed driving the bus right now.

So I think there not being a CAREs 2 is actually better for Delta..just not for the pilots/employees in the short term.
I think you’re reading too much into it. If anyone is going to crush on the other side of the pandemic it’s Southwest, and Gary Kelly is in full support of a PSP clean extension. I guarantee that Delta will take the grant money again if offered. The tremendous amount of debt that Delta and everyone else has taken on still needs to be paid back.
