I thought he would certainly win the election once he had the nomination. Hillary was just to hard to stomach. I was wrong about this election. I thought the polling data was skewed in favor of Trump even though showing a loss. I expected him to do worse but he did slightly better. I assumed voters were reading his tweets! The polls bring into question his entire election fraud mantra unless all the polls were rigged also. I also harbored zero doubts that Trump never does anything unless it’s good for Trump and strokes his ego. The problem going forward is he gave away the GA senate seats and now is already talking about forming his own party which will assure Democratic domination in the next election. He has to show he is still a political force to generate leverage to renegotiate large loans coming due. Banks got wise to his corporate bankruptcy threats and filings and either refused his business or required he personally guarantee the loans. The loans coming due won’t get written off like the Chicago money.

So, are you saying that secure borders, including a wall .....and/or punitive, sometimes violent imprisonment (including possibly death) are all that is needed to get COVID under control? Island nations can easily control their points of entry.....a repressive regime can also do it.

Short term? We have been masking for well over 6 months and no end in sight. There is nothing magical about “100 days” and apparently there isn’t relief if you have had it, or have the vaccine.

When exactly will be ok to take it off and why?

I wonder if those that don’t have their nose inside the mask has any bearing on infections. I see a lot of people not keeping it in.

That's why COVID is a pandemic, it spreads too easily, it requires more than just mask wearing by 80% to stop it. Even 100% proper mask usage won't stop it by itself. Predictions with and without mask usage are different, because it does help.
