Nevertheless, it’s a reasonable hypothesis, and necessary background because everything about this fatdemic (I mean pandemic) is still crazy politicized, and nobody would care, except large swaths of the world populous doesn’t have faith in any institutions peddling an untried and inadequately tested mRNA “cure”.

This isn’t the second coming of the Justinian plague; it’s not Ebola, and it’s not even “just” the New Spanish flu. It never has been. But we’re told it is. Given the IMF estimates of a $20 trillion loss to the global economy (2020-2024), there’s some reason for, well, angst?
I've never heard it called a cure. Hell I have never even really heard it called a preventative for that matter. All I have heard is that it might reduce symptoms if you have it, or you might help you to manufacture more antibodies if you previously had ChinaFlu.

We were conned. Straight up. Yeah it was a virulent flu, but wasn't 'flatten the curve' supposed to reduce strain on the hospitals? Well? Why are we still subjected... and I used that word on purpose... to Fauci and masks and distancing and closed down businesses, and......

It's beyond retarded.

Anecdotally FWIW - took the first dose of Moderna yesterday. MHO the 48 hour waiting period before flying is a good idea. Not feeling terrible, but certainly not up to a typical 4 leg 8 hour of block domestic day. Slept almost 12 hours last night. The usual is about 7:30.

Not usually a conspiracy theorist, but let us see if Georgia's largest employer with the state's largest vaccine center in the parking lot gets approval to vaccinate front-line employees concomitant with getting the J&J single-shot dose. If that is how this plays out it might indicate the company really did not want employees taking 4+ days off with two vaccines.

The J&J is ~$3 dose, while the mRNA'a are near $30 per dose. Saves the company a couple million bucks with the J&J, when you add in the sick time.

I saw one article talking about the "efficacy rate" and it implied that the J&J was most likely just as effective, but because it was developed/tested later when there were more variants it competed against ompared to when the others were testes it appeared to be lower in effectiveness.

Take a look around the world, it's not Fauci and the MSM. Everyone has reacted the same. Nobody wants to carry a virus that might kill Grandma. The nurse I know lost 30 plus geriatric patients in a month last spring.

Who's paying for the vaccine shots?

Delta's insurance provider will be paying for each employee's jab. The Delta clinic that just opened in New York is the J&J.

And we’re not alone in complaining about government overreach and the impact on the economy and mental health. The US is not the only nation fighting over the balance between health and liberty. Every nation with some sort of constitution or guarantee of liberty has had to deal with the same struggles.

Not to **** on your parade but the second dose seems to be a little more intense wrt how you feel after. My wife got the Moderna, I got Phizer. Felt pretty good after the first, not so much after the second, especially her. Many we’ve talked to had similar results. We’re good now. Just FYI. Maybe plan a movie/sleep marathon.
