however, unintentional offense is still something that’s real, so hiding behind “I didn’t mean to offend” is kinda specious. Doubly so when it’s used instead of an apology for intentional behavior.

So why should no one call out the offensive nature of white trash, which is a derogatory term for white people (which isn't capitalized), if people are getting cancelled when posting private messages using the "N'word" to someone who isn't offended?
Redneck engineering is Okay but "N rigging" is bad?
Why is the Dallas Cowboys an inoffensive team, while the Cleveland Indians need to change their name?
There would never be a team called the Charleston Cottonpickers, yet the Nebraska Cornhuskers is Okay?
Where is the offense at the Boston Celtics, or Minnesota Vikings, or USC Trojans, but complaints of racism with the Atlanta Braves?

Bringing this back to the topic of this thread; we are not an industry of 100,000+ individual commanders, doing as well damn well please, setting individual and varying standards and procedures. We have a process. At the Plaintiff's carrier, they have a variety of reports and internal mechanisms to manage safety and these systems have had good results.

I was today years old when I realized this forum is no better than Facebook. My blood boils at the hypocrisy. I used to come here for Delta info.
