OE
I was in the 2/3 class, I don't believe anyone made it to OE if i'm remembering correctly. I got a type and 2 JS observations before everything came crashing down late March. I had OE scheduled though, so close!!

Does anyone know the company’s outlook on PLOAs during “normal times”? In other words, if someone asked for a six month or one year PLOA in 2018 or 2019, would they have approved it?
I was told a long time ago that they don’t mind approving them because of the cost savings—letting a six-year FO (for example) off the books for a year saves money because they’ll likely fill that spot with someone junior and they can effectively make up for the loss through hiring/AE (again, assuming the hiring machine is running). But I have no idea if that’s accurate, and I never had a reason to care until now.
Trying to decide how long of a PLOA to ask for with this new AE—I may want to go longer than a year, but I’m not sure, and I’m wondering if I should ask now or wait until the one year is up.
