Again, right now we are not instructor limited on the ER

That’s true but those positions likely wouldn’t be trained until post summer.

Eff that short term pain for long term gain. I’ll never say that to my kids.
For a little perspective, teachers don't just work 9-4. I have plenty of friends and family who teach. Its classroom from 7-4 and then lesson planning and grading most nights until after dinner. That's if they aren't involved in extra-cirriculars. Yes, you do get summers and some holidays off (again, see above) but many use their off time to make up for their generally inadequate salaries. I make more than double what my best friend and his wife make (both teachers) and I get at least half the year off.

For some reason I think you missed my point. The internet does that. Thank you for your input.

I think the biggest limiting factor on the ER is TOE. My OE (plus TOE) took almost 4 months to complete.

I like the old joke about tenured college professors:

They work 24/7.

24 hours a week, 7 months a year.

Don't think I saw anyone mention that BS states in the AE memo that the Summer 2021 schedule is expected to be 65% of Summer 2019.

Sixty five percent of the busiest summer ever sounds much better than I expected.
