Maybe 3 is enough, idk. It doesn't sound like enough when i couldn't figure out how to reset my freaking password, or remember what i reset it to. I feel like if i look at an airplane itll just break in anticipation of whatever dumb thing I'll do to it.

I liked early retirement, ive got a great beard and a great life.

Default Reinstatement

I can’t figure it out, what’s the minimum required notification for reinstatement training?

my last CQ was March of 2020, but I last flew end of Dec 2020 which was my “must go” month for my CQ zone. My 12 month clock is starts Dec 2020
Makes sense now, thank you!

I know what you mean, but just for the record day three is a checkride, so what matters is day two. I will tell you, the vast vast majority of folks in your shoes do just fine (assuming you spend some time brushing out the mental cobwebs before you get there).

If you're not ready after two sims, you'll get more. Keep in mind, you are usually the only student, so it's 8 dedicated hours.

No shame in that at all. They preach it and you should use it. I haven’t gone longer than 6 months and it was really weird getting back in after 6 months. I don’t know what a year would be like.

I would guess like around twice as long as 6 months, but that’s just me.

You missed an easy opportunity for an Airplane! quote...but that’s not important right now.

Pulling 14 (possibly up to 19) 717s out of the desert. I don't see how this is happening, I heard on here that those are "retired" and never coming back! . Either way, wonder if this last AE accounted for those airframes being back on the line?

He’s got an Air Guard buddy whose brother ran into a guy in a bar who flew with a line check airman.
