Received an email for training today, DTW 330B starting May 24th. Is this legit? Can they add training at this point in the month? This is a training award from the latest AE.

Posted before 1800E on the 4th? Yes I believe it is legit. If not then I believe training update 20-03 outlines options.

It is legit and permitted if the training is for an AE/VD. Per 11.F.2.a.1, all you are required is 15 days notice for qualification training (25 days notice for an MD). The "Qualification training posted before 1800E on the 4th" only applies to PBS bidding for the next month. If the company assigns training after that time (but more than 15/25 days prior), any trips PBS awards you that touch your footprint are dropped and you are paid the greater of training pay or the dropped. What the Company cannot do is pre-post training on your PBS results after 1800E on the 4th, while the bid window is still open, without your consent.

As for your projected training in June, it is just that...a projection. CR even puts a bright red disclaimer at the top of the document that says "Note: These are only projections and are subject to change."

If it was an AE award 15 days is the required notice.

Thanks for this. Looking at this since it’s been more than 12 months since my last 320 CQ I should get the normal requal? They said I only need the short requal, just 3 sims 😳. I was under the impression I would get a few more.

The way it has been explained to me is you need a Normal Requal when you have been unqualified for more than 12 months. You become unqualified 10 months after your CQ, so you would add 10 months to your last CQ and then add 12 more months to that. Hopefully that makes sense

not 12 months since last CQ...12 months since last time you were qualified, I.e. when your CQ zone expires.

my last CQ was March of 2020, but I last flew end of Dec 2020 which was my “must go” month for my CQ zone. My 12 month clock is starts Dec 2020

That is the right thing to do. I did it on a 'normal' requal back to the -ER. It is no big deal. The only problem might be finding an available period.
