You can choose to believe or not believe the release that said after the plus up those receiving the payout were in the the 20 to 30% reduction of pay yty on par with other non-merit groups. I was merely trying to point out that they aren’t really bonuses. Pick your battles. My union told several of us that employees hired a dozen years after us should get to keep their seats and pay because of an oversight in the contract. Fingers can be pointed in a lot of directions. You can always apply to be a merit employee so that your pay can be reviewed and adjusted.

By the wording of the press release, it sounds like they've done their due diligence in case regulators come knocking. Poorly timed, for sure

So what do you think about paying hundreds of pilots to stay home for over a year and not furlough?

On another topic, what’s the deal with the dispatchers? Are they still on reduced salary or hours?

So what is your position:
1. No US Taxpayer assistance, no "bonuses", and furloughs.
2. Only some employees at the company should take major cuts while others are mildly affected because Uncle Sugar decides who are the winners and losers inside a company.
