That first statement just shows how low expectations when you consider how much we (the US) are paying for that food. Hope you get to your final destination safely and quickly. All this quarantine nonsense has got to be playing hell with getting a decent handover.

The guy I'm relieving left a month ago.
Got to Arifjan last night. I-bay isn't horrible, but the next time I see an Army LNO on a boat demanding single occupancy staterooms for Majors, I'm just going to laugh in their face, being that I'm in a 48 man room with half walls around every 4 beds. And in a bunk bed I can't even roll over in.
Food at AJ is far better than what we were getting in Q Town at the deed.
I generally only eat one meal a day, so I try to make it count.
