I haven’t read anything on here this good in awhile. Thanks for the laugh!

it's held aloft by green slips. That is not lasting solution.

I got OE bought off, then GS'd 2 trips in the footprint. I was surprised I got the second one but if you look at our reserve coverage it explains it all.

I could GS again if I wanted, or pick up in open/swap. I could beat myself up, but I'm thrashed from this month. I'll take my time off now.

Going to be a long summer.

Take it easy out there Trip

Dude, that's how Delta runs its operation, on GreenSlips. Has been that way for years.

Win-win, really. Management can tout high employee utilization, those who want to work can make tons of cash.

My guess is Delta will want to reduce the multiplier to 1.75 or 1.5 in exchange for something relatively inconsequential to them (positive space commute?). Stand strong on the 2x GS multiplier.

It was 1.5 multiplier when I was hired in 08. Cut in bankruptcy. Most saw this as not worth their time to GS especially as a line holder. They would go out to Junior reserve guys but overall not alot of takers. So little that Delta went back to double pay GS to entice guys to put in for them again. If I remember right this wasn’t even a negotiated item just something they saw needed to happen to get guys to fly them again. I doubt they want to try that again as guys have previously said Delta needs GS to survive!

Supply and demand, there's a better chance it goes to 2.5 or 3x.

No. It's been done before. They dropped it to 1.5 after bankruptcy. Rolling thunder happened regularly because the lineholder GSers dropped off a cliff. I doubt they would mess with that experiment again. It hurts staffing and requires more pilots.
