While I don’t know the answer specifically, I do remember during our last hiring boom a few years ago there would be random weeks (not associated with any major holiday) with no class. Maybe they’re just trying to match up with predicted sim availability or something.

they started mine on 8/16. Still not done yet. 3-4 uploads of the same documents to verify data. They’ll email you when they need more info. “No news, is good news.”

Same experience for me. Interviewed the first week of August and started my background check the week after. I’ve been asked to resubmit W-2s/pay stubs for each of my three previous jobs. Still waiting to clear it. I know of a few other people from the first and second interview weeks in the same boat.

So everyone knows, you must now be fully vaccinated to start class. You cannot show up with just 1 shot and then get the 2nd later.

Interviewed 8/19, received a class date on 9/9 for 10/5. I got an e-mail 9/10 saying that “all pre-employment screens have cleared.”

Good luck - I’m sure there are a lot of variables with the background check.
