No CJO yet, just an interview invite.
It's a pretty recent change. From what I understand at some point (within a week?) of indoc you'll be emailed the drop with the available positions and you just rank your preferences. Once they've got everyone's preferences they'll work their way down the class list awarding people positions based on their preferences and what spots are left available. I have no idea if Delta tells you your position in the class or not.

I’m 99% sure they tell you ahead of time (unless your class is right after an AE closes)

They're supposed to change it to 9ER now that most of the fleet is the -900ER. Crews have already started wearing their epaulets backwards unitl it happens.

Don't h8, avi8.

Which airframes would get me to SEA the quickest? Aug 31 CJO still waiting on the background check to clear/indoc date.

73N or 220

there is a 7ER base in SEA but it may take longer

320 or 717 would be at least a year as they require an aircraft change.

Nice to know I’m not the only one still waiting on background. 8/24 CJO and it’s been crickets. I don’t even think my security clearance took this long….

FWIW, I’ve known several pilots whose background check didn’t come back until after indoc started, all pre-Covid.
