What happens when you’re seat locked on a fleet and then that fleet is removed from
a base your in. Do you get MD to another base that has that fleet? Or can you break seat lock to keep your basing. Ex: DTW717 pilots forced to ATL (assuming dtw717 closes) to ride out the rest of their 717 seat lock.

A strategy that might work out well for some NHs is to bid DTW717B. If they do in fact close it before you leave it, you get to displace into anything you can hold without a seat lock. If you just like hanging out on Virginia Ave, displace to NYC7ERB and you can get displaced off that too!

Lol don’t be so hard on yourself. It’s easier to ask a group where at least one will probably already know it than to read a million pages of legalese just to answer a few questions about something that you’ll do once or twice.

Heh heh... My last four SSN begins with 99 and I hope to bid DTW 320B sometime this spring. I suppose this is good news for me (I should get what I want) and good news for everyone except a2cBus (I'll stay out of everyone else's way except theirs) - sorry.
