Does efficiency play into it at all? The 223 pays less than the 319 despite way lower burns for same capacity.

Aerion just folded. Tried to build a 50+ pax SST, had orders from Flexjet, MOUs from Netjets, $ from Boeing. Was “green” (of course).
The real miracle technology with private venture SST is their marketing departments. That, and their ability to waste money at near government spending levels before the inevitable shut down.

That was by far the most confident I've seen Ed speaking in an official capacity since the beginning of this mess. He repeatedly said they expect to be back to 2019 revenue levels by 2023, if not sooner. We need planes and people yesterday.
