Why do you think 20-4 took so long and was timed when it was?
We are going to see that TA1 history repeat itself. Hopefully it’ll be the last time.

Were you here for TA1 and the sales jobs associated with it? “Constructive Collaboration”, which basically means give the company what they want immediately has always been the mantra of C44. All in the name of time value of money, which is an excuse to give in rather than wait. This has been the mindset since we had one of the better contracts under Moak. How did we get the great contract? He sold the pension for it.

Genuine question: if very few people voted for TA1 why does everyone ask around about it like they're going to find something? Why don't we start figuring out who among us bought the new kids on the block album decades ago? Way too many copies sold, music destroyed, and no one's been held accountable. I've got my suspicions and I'm ready to ruthlessly pass judgement.

People keep accusing each other of that, yet TA1 failed miserably.

Many of the reps that voted to bring TA1 to the pilot group were recalled. Many of those said they voted yes because a failure would bring more leverage going forward. While this is philosophical in perspective, voting yes when 70% of your constituents say @#ll no, isn’t good representation. Of those recalled, how many began their career at Atlanta?
Our new chairman….how did he vote on TA1 and did he try to sell it? We are repeating history from the top levels. Thankfully C44 only has so much push.
All I want is a union that isn’t going to just agree to the companies requests, simply because it’s the easy thing to do. I also don’t want the only word they use to be “no” either. Sometimes doing the right thing is difficult, even if it taints the glorious Delta pilot uniform in the eyes of the company.

Be careful voting for hot heads and podium pounders. As much shade (unnecessarily) as has been thrown on C44, I have seen the exact opposite happen too when we elect reps that can never reach an agreement. Those types sound great in an email, but will never vote yes to anything because it isn’t 100% pilot/0% company. This fairytale contract doesn’t exist, and demanding we wait until we get it takes real dollars out of your wallet in *gasp* TVM.
I have seen reps in the “middle of the spectrum” achieve the most. LEC elections matter a lot. Educate yourself on the reps, ask some trusted friends for advice; the forum can be lopsided and misleading. By all means, please vote!

The MEC from C44 has done what again?
Scope. Scope. Scope.
Say it with me one more time. Scope.
I don't have a warm fuzzy. Thus I want a fighter representing me. That's why McGregor got my vote.

I would never call him in a pinch, it would be the same as talking to management. Which I generally try to avoid.
The kompany has violated our contract how many times now?
Yeah. I want a fighter. Not an aquiceser.

Yes Marc was a UNAcorn.
That is a 180 from my experiences with Lauren.
Before her tenure, I would send emails...I never got a response from her predecessor and if Tom did respond to my FO issue, it was always a "Copy" or "Thanks"....literally a one word response.
With Lauren, she responded to every email...hell one of them she responded to in the middle of the day during MEC meeting week. On another issue (about voting for JA instead of RS), she asked if it would be OK to speak over the phone instead of trying to explain via email....we coordinated a time to speak and spent over an hour on the phone and she didn't shy away from any of the questions I asked her.

Which is the guy you voted for.
BTw, nothing will change, regardless who win this vote. You probably haven’t been a civilian pilot long enough to know this.

6 years plus 2 years at the same regional as Cervantes. I think counts.
To your former, so you're saying the guy in the scope committee knows nothing about scope?
Right.
Who's naive here again?

Math check. A 2558 couldn’t be here 6 years. Are your 2 years of regional time counted in your 6 years? Doesn’t matter for your facts, but you’re so dang antagonist that I’m gonna call you in it.
