kinda sounds like the situation I’m in. Got the email to submit 2 days after the interview. Made sure to bring W2s from the six previous years or work with me to work so I could get them in instantly and now just sitting in a holding pattern.

I don’t think that’s unusual, but it is painful. I don’t think there is much else to do besides wait it out. It’ll clear eventually.

Will this affect my assessment in any way since the camera must be on? If I am invited to interview I will show up as the industry standard, however, this facial hair is a significant portion of my well-being out here. Thanks for your time!

A human is not watching the camera. Delta is certainly not watching the camera. They contract a company to administer the test. That company does the test, no one else. The website uses algorithms to detect your face and watch for other faces to see if you're receiving help. It says so right in the instructions.

My browser accidentally blocked the camera and microphone for the first 3 tests I did before I realized the camera light was off. I finished the testing and emailed Aon about it who replied "we show all your tasks are complete." Got the job.

Here is a question for the application before the interview.

I had a engine failure in flight (oil line came loose and showered the engine with oil, lost all pressure) in a multi engine A/C. Landed without incident shortly after.
Filed an ASAP. Never heard nothing else from the company or the FAA.

In the application it asks about incidents, but right above it says “FAA actions against you” , although not an action against me, I believe it is an incident.

Thanks for any input.

49 CFR 830.2

Aircraft accident means an occurrence associated with the operation of an aircraft which takes place between the time any person boards the aircraft with the intention of flight and all such persons have disembarked, and in which any person suffers death or serious injury, or in which the aircraft receives substantial damage.

...
Incident means an occurrence other than an accident, associated with the operation of an aircraft, which affects or could affect the safety of operations.

I do not believe an engine failure constitutes an incident if there was no other complications, damage, or injury. Makes a great story for sure. When it doubt, call pilot recruitment and ask. That's always the right answer. Anything else is advice from random people on the internet...

That being said, I had an engine failure, didn't put it in the incidents section of the app, told the story at the interview. I imagine if you didn't get interviewed, investigated, pee tested, etc, it's unlikely to be an incident.

Its a bit easier to look at a few months of awards from the actual BES categories you're considering. That gives you a real world snapshot of what actual pilots are getting at various relative seniority snapshots. Look at the best award (to you) per page for a good overview.

Looking at actual bid packs is 100X the data to make sense out of and a great many trips only operate a single or few days that month. If you are looking for overnight locations, you can still see that on the monthly awards, write the trip number down and then search just those trips in the bid pack to see what they're about. Trying to look at entire bid packs is like looking for a needle in a dump truck full of needles.

They just launched this new tool as well:
"Crew Resources launches new Rotation Construction by Category Dashboard"

Just got the TBNT email from the assessment I took on the 17th. Huge bummer since I thought I did well. Good luck to those who got the email!
