Thanks! I'll be sure to do that.

I believe that is through the E3 visa, which is only available to Australian pilots.

Just genuinely curious. 4 years into Delta with a USAF reserve job so obviously not moving lol.

The pay and working conditions in Canada are significantly worse across the board. Morale has been quite low, especially for the new hires who were furloughed for 1.5-2+ years during COVID, only to come back to flat pay for the first four years ($44k, $47k, $55k, $63k USD per year). AC currently is a better bet than Westjet, with far more movement due to retirements and a generally higher pay scale. Prior to COVID, upgrade times were within 2 years on the NBs in YYZ at AC.

You're definitely much better off at Delta. I calculated that over a 35 year career, I'd earn about 80% more at Delta gross, without taking into account the lower income tax in the US.

You can write them down and are able to listen to each clearance a total of three times. It’s one of the easier portions of the assessment and requires zero prep.

Are you allowed to write stuff down with a pen and paper on the other parts of the online assessment?

Just got the invite for the assessment. What kind of prep did everyone use?

I don’t know what else you’d want to write down, as virtually all of the other tasks involve reaction speed, counting dots, doing mental math, and moving things around, but I don’t recall it being prohibited. In summary, there is nothing else to write down. Don’t overthink it!

Yes....but free health care! Martial Law! Celine Dion and Bryan Adams make up for all that.

Oh by the way, you can have Beiber back!

Hey guys,

I just got a new type rating as of today. I’m within the two day window of updating my airline app and it says on the email not to update within two business days. I plan on calling in about this but seeing if anyone has guidance on this. Thanks!

Just bring it up at the interview when they ask if anything has changed on your app. It'll be a good talking point.

+1. They will ask you if you need to change anything. In your case, it's to add another 'plus'.

Having said that, the fact you have an interview means they already want to hire you. Best of luck!
