It sounds like the issue is with the states getting back to Cisive. I believe other carriers are doing summary checks.

Cisive / Delta appears to be doing the deep dives.

Summary check vs Deep Dive? Cisive website says just an employment verification and standard background check.

“ Interview Update:

Effective Tuesday, May 24, 2022, if you were not successful with either the Online Assessment or Interview (dating back to August 2021), your application will now be able to be re-considered 3 months (previously 6) after completing your assessment or interview. To be reconsidered, you only need to keep your application up to date.

Your application will be considered along with all new applicants awaiting review, so be patient with our team if you do not get an invite immediately. If you are still competitive, you will receive an invitation to test or interview once again*.

*Note, if you were successful in the Online Assessment portion the first time but not the Interview you will not need to take the Online Assessment again.”

Any current guys in training or off IOE

Hey group , don’t jump all over this post. I have an delta interview and United . I initially wanted Delta but my buddy is fresh off IOE at United. He loved training, said it was super gentleman like. It was airline normal firehouse hard, but professional and friendly the entire way through . Can I expect the same here at Delta , or is it the miserable dread annual berating by a head strong group. I’m having a hard time getting a feel for the culture . Love the product , but fresh off 20 yrs AF to airlines and just want to make a good call.

But yet Delta isn't interviewing any more Endeavor pilots. Makes sense....

And ones with cjos from the start of the year have to wait 9 moths for a class date.

What exactly is CISIVE? Do they contact previous employers for records on you or is it a standard background/criminal record check? What is it?

Good. I wish they'd go fully in the direction of United and use it as a supplement to the interview and not give people hard TBNT because of an online psych test.

You can expect the same experience at all the majors. We have a lot of really good instructors, both seniority list and contract, that want you to succeed and will work with you and get you through so long as you keep a good attitude about it.

Thanks for the reply. Seems like there’s a lot gossip about pilot to pilot culture, but everybody I’ve met so far are down to earth.
