However, if the former, I’d add that I can’t speak to new hire policy ‘enforcement’, but Delta is not even adjudicating existing employees’ exemption requests, because it’s obsolete.

Delta current employees don't have any reason to need adjudication. New hires still have it as a requirement. And that description is exactly how the company looks at vaccinations and is very hard to even argue against. If you normally get vaccines it is going to be very hard to get the company to consider a religious exemption.

F9 is honoring the exemption requests and issuing approvals within 1 business day. Me and my friends have all gotten vaccine exemptions so just curious as to if Delta would issue them as well seeing that other majors are.

Anyone here been through the process recently that cared to ask them about the exemption?

The problem is most of the equipment Delta operates goes international to some degree. Vaccine exemptions are a scheduling nightmare for the company. If you only want a religious exemption to one vaccine I would say your out of luck.

They actually did a very good job explaining how the company looks at it. Nice swing and a miss from you though.

Cool story. I believe you believe that's how it works.

Interview

Anyone else having a hard time getting ahold of the hiring number to schedule a interview?

I think you are missing the point. The way they handled current employees gives insight into their actual thinking on the matter. They were basically looking for any excuse to give a waiver before the courts knocked it down.

While is it a “requirement” for new employees, it won’t last forever, and waivers are likely to be given due consideration.

It seemed a lot of current employees were complaining about not getting the waiver, although I guess that's anecdotal, I would think everyone would have if that wasn't the case. And what court rulings are you speaking of?

Best way is to leave a message. They will call back.

The vaccine mandates that were ruled unconstitutional, several ways actually. (before the mask mandate was also).

It seemed to me that they were asking unvaccinated employees to give them the excuse to grant a waiver. They were then telling the White House they were ‘in compliance’ with the executive order.

Point being, they were against mandatory vaccinations for existing employees. I will absolutely grant they mandated it for new employment, but I surmise they aren’t hard over on that.

I’m sure this has been answered a million times but I am preparing for the assessment with RST. Feel good about all the cogs but was wondering if there was any prep or tips/things to stay away from for the personality portion?

be consistent and honest….don’t try to guess what they want to hear. Inconsistency is what tanks that portion.
