Hello Everyone, quick question I need help with this question on the addendum, I know it is something so simple, just want to do it, correctly

" In the past two years, have you been employed by a company or applied to a company with whom you were subject to DOT required drug and alcohol testing?" YES or NO"

all my employers in the last 25 years have done Pre-employment and
random testing for Drugs and alcohol, so the answer is "YES", and so if yes I will just put my Employer's information.?

thank you for your help

This is a tough one, which I would consult a professional app review service. If I remember correctly, you were previously employed overseas, where you would not be subject to the US Dept of Transportation drug screening. In that same vein, I, a career military flyer, was not subject to DOT testing, but obviously tested regularly by the military, so answered I “no.”

I would only answer “yes” if the DOT saw your results, either as an airline pilot or truck driver, etc.

I just cleared pre-employment screening. I was wondering if anyone who has received a class date in the past week or so would be able to provide info on when their class date is. TYIA

Got 9/26 class assigned a few days ago. Full timeline posted 1-2 pages back.

I was able to talk to and confirm with the Delta Pilot Hiring team that the delay was due to my availability date being so far out. I have December of this year as my availability. The folks at the hiring department reassured me that my application is active and that I should hear from them well in advance of my availability date.

I finally received the email inviting me to take the online assessment. I am expecting the link for the assessment in the next 24 hours.

I got the CJO. I probably went through my airline apps a million times. But somehow I missed this error. I said on airline apps I started with an employer on 6/25 when I actually started on 6/9. I shorted myself 2 weeks of work. Is this something the background check will hang me on? All of my other employment dates are within a few days or spot on. The CJO makes it sound like they are exacting. I tried my best to be as accurate as possible but definitely missed this one. Is it worth reaching out to pilot selection? Or am I just overly neurotic post a long day in Atlanta.

You're over thinking it. You're gonna be fine. The purpose of the background check is not focused on seeing if you have your date of employments accurate to the date. Just enjoy the CJO and welcome.
