Wow. That seems oddly long. I got the top tier a month ago

Hi all, new to this thread but looked to see if this question has been previously asked and could not find it. I am typed on the A320 and Delta has long been a career goal for me. I was curious if coming with this type rating would help in any way at all in getting the A320 at Delta. I'm about 90% sure that it does not help chances at all but was just curious. Thanks

I finally received the email inviting me to take the online assessment. I am expecting the link for the assessment in the next 24 hours.

How long was your wait?

June 18th was my top tier email.

it does not. Just chosen based off of class seniority. Usually a decent amount of 320 though so decent chance unless you have a low number last 4 Ssn.

My wait was a while. I got the Top Tier Feb 28 and the AON invite today. I was told by the Delta Pilot recruiters that the extended delay was due to my availability date (December 2023)

Understood. Is it age and SSN that determines class seniority or just SSN? SSN wise I would be very close to the bottom of class seniority. Also curious what fleet seems to be the most popular bid amongst new hires. I'm sure that is also variable as people come with various types from various other airlines, but wasn't sure if there was a pattern amongst narrow body bids. Base preference would also play a factor I would assume!

Gotcha. My availability date has always been set to two weeks notice. Hopefully I hear back soon.

AON Assessment

The email for the AON states that a mobile device can be used to take the test. Is it a bad idea to use an iPAD? Or should I wait till I have access to my computer at home tomorrow?

I tried the cut-e prep website with both my tablet and laptop. I scored better overall using my laptop with a mouse. Thus, I used my laptop.

Sounds like about 2 months top tier to AON assessment, with notice set to 2 weeks out.
