Out of curiosity, how long are people seeing on average to clear the background check? All of my documents show accepted, but I understand there is more to it than just that.

the only thing is recruiting ever tells anyone is, “things are backed up” “there’s a backlog” “you should be getting it soon”

They have a rotation if scripted responses. They don’t actually ever look into your file and give you an update. My friend reached out twice about every 3 mo. It is what it is. There’s really no rhyme of reason as to when or what triggers a TT email and from there how long you’ll wait. The only real known is if you’re at an affiliate regional or you have a future date of availability that can significantly delay things. Time (total, tpic, turbine) seems to be a poor factor to judge too. You either meet the times they are looking for or you don’t. More time doesn’t seem to make you more competitive these days as there’s people with over 6k hrs and tpic that still haven’t gotten a TT

What is your availability date? Just curious how your timeline corresponds to availability.

My availability is December 2023. I spoke directly to the recruiting office when I had a delay of 16+ weeks from Top Tier prior to getting the AON invite. They told me that my long delay was due to my availability date.

Does the Virtual recruiting event effect the AON timeline at all? Jul/25 Top Tier and did the Virtual event Aug/10.

No idea, honestly. Talking with the recruiter was really cool, but he didn’t have any inside info re: the AON timeline when I asked about it.
