BMI isn’t a great way to measure health. You can be muscular and over 30 bmi easily.

I hate the hat. And yes they did. I don't know why that's so hard to believe.

I mean sure, I’d trade $800 for $100,000 too, but as far as I am aware that is not the option we have infront of us. but as our contract goes, we should be given the attire we are expected to wear, regardless of what they are paying us. This is not a either or…not all contract improvements should revolve around pay tables.

We should also be able to expense dry cleaning, like United.

There is this guy named Drum on here. You should send him a PM and go grab a beer. I think y’all would hit it off.

Can they expense all dry cleaning or just while on the road?

I don't think they have to be on the road. I don't see this as much of a gain to the contract. I dry clean my jacket once, maybe twice a year, and that's pretty much it.

I dry clean my pants after every trip. Or can they only expense the jacket.

That’s not what they said.. When asked, “does the future include us wearing hats?” PB said, “It does.”

That is not incompatible with them becoming optional. Wishful thinking? Probably. But we’ll see if that turns out to be a distinction without a difference.

I, for one, hope we join the rest of the entire industry, and make them optional. I don’t feel as passionately about it as I used to as a commuter (for which a hat is a massive PIA), but still…. The world stopped wearing formal hats with JFK.

They expense it all. Shirts, pants, jackets after every trip. Is it a huge gain? No. But why not “me too” this type of stuff: first class deadheads, middle seat deadhead premium, crew meals that they can choose ahead of time.
