I saw you quoted me, but it seems you are agreeing with me, correct? Everything I have heard is firsthand from ACPs, CPs, C66 Reps, LCPs that have actually spoken with me. None of it is hearsay. RT and BU, the two prior NYC RD's were universally liked and respected in the office. The mood has definitely soured in the NYC CPO under current leadership, no doubt. But again, its just what I've been told by current and former troops.
Also, I agree that the CPO job is not ideal if you are not a local, but they never needed to blast the whole base for applicants before the current RD was running things. |
Has anyone purchased a hat from crew outfitters lately? Just got my new hat and the material is complete garbage

I just try and stay away from anything crew outfitters makes, ive never been impressed with any of their products.
Even the much ballyhooed rah rah American jacket manufacturer started making them offshore to a (IMO) lesser quality. In any case I can't wait to see what a "hat that's easier to travel with" means. |
Shirt suggestions
Any slimmer guys have shirt recommendations they like? Got the ones from
Crew outfitters that we order during indoc. Got the appropriate neck size and got the “tapered” version which is supposed to be slimmer cut. The shirt is cut so boxy that it looks way to big for me. Showed up to observation jumpseats and I looked like I borrowed my dad’s shirt. It’s funny, but also kind of unprofessional looking. I’m not looking for something too skinny or soy latte hipster tight, just something I’m not swimming in. |

Thank you both for the recommendations. I bought one from A Cut Above and will see how it fits. Gooner, did you get a custom shirt from your’s or did you get the “Delta” shirt?

Check out &Collar and their “Flight” shirts. I bought a large slim flit, I’m 6’2 and 200 lbs and it fits really nice.
