What will life be like as NYC 7ER newby?

yeah. it's why it's going to new hires now because it's so understaffed for augmented ops. They also changed the IQ from splitting off from the ER in the 400 series to completing the ER completely then doing differences to the -400 because it saves a few sims and they are that tight on -400 sim time.

So 4 - 5 years to hold a line as a narrow body FO in ATL. Got it.

I have a CJO, waiting for class. I’m having a difficult time deciding what my base/equipment preferences should be.
I want to be live and be based in Atlanta. I’m willing to commute for up to a year from ATL to NYC/DTW/MSP if that’s necessary to optimize choice of airframe. For instance, if ATL 7ER is my optimal pick, but only NYC 7ER is available to me as a new hire, I’d consider taking that as long as I can be based in ATL within a year.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but that appears to leave me with 7ER, 73, 320, or 717 (and the wide bodies only if they’re available in ATL in the initial class drop).
So can anyone give me an idea what the flying is like for those four airframes for ATL-based crews?
On first look… getting a taste of international makes the 7ER intriguing. The wide usage and growing fleets make the 737 and 320 appealing. And the best relative seniority makes the 717 appealing. What other factors and fleet plans should I be taking into consideration?
For context, I plan to live close to ATL so commutability isn’t a big concern. I prefer relaxed trips (4 legs/day or fewer, and overnights long enough that I can get out of the hotel for several hours) over short but exhausting trips.
I am interested in the differences in earning potential between these airframes as a low seniority B, but willing to factor the availability of GS’s into that math.
How does days off per month compare amongst these airframes for ATL crews?
I appreciate any assistance y’all provide. This is a big decision, but difficult to make as a new hire.
