There seems to be some irrational and misguided opinion that not flying GS will result in a contract faster. It will not. And, it will end up with us in court. If you want to fly them, fly them. If you don't, don't.

Yeah and everyone makes mistakes. Like- at some point do you stop trusting the company? It seems like again and again these managment guys screw with us and somehow theyre still trustworthy in your mind.

To suggest that our collective loss of buying power due to inflation isn’t/shouldn’t be important to us because we can just work on our days off is asinine.
And then to say we should be fine with working on our days off because military pilots work harder and it’s not like a GS is a 6 month deployment is even more doltish.
EDIT: also incredibly tone-deaf considering many pilots leave the mil because they don't want to have to think about work on their days off, but then are told by Trip7 that to combat inflation and the lack of a new contract all they need to do to maintain their 2019 lifestyle is just work on their days off.

Sure, but that’s totally different than Trip7 saying, “Worried about inflation? Just work on your days off!”

A 5 day GS for me means working and being away from home at least 13 of 15 days. Might as well be deployed. Not to mention the unhealthy lifestyle with our current rotations of no excercise, long duty days, and a layover barely long enough to get food before going to sleep.

It won't end up in court unless there is a coordinated effort. I agree with your statement mostly though other than that.
