Nope. dot matrix printers and paper with the perforated holes on the edge. Ever wonder where all the carbon paper went??

Opps. sorry. thought that question was for me…carry on

Oook is it accessible online from a phone at least, or is that why airport show time is 1 hour? What does Delta do with its money instead of modernizing its information infrastructure(other than buying refineries since they still print plenty more)?

I can’t remember when they started that project, but I think it was a couple years ago. Then they were on target to roll them out beginning of 2022 and now they should be coming out Q4. Probably of 2025.

To be fair, we will have a digital flight plan app by this summer

Most people use the digital version of the paper flight plan on the iPad. We are just still required to have a paper copy.

And the hour prior is actually just airport report. You aren't really "required" to be at the airplane until 30-40 prior. Can't remember which one

Haha! They tried it but a lot of the 88 guys were using indelible ink on their Surfaces. We're not allowed to have nice things here.

What will the highlighter battalion do when we get rid of them??

What grinds my gears is:

All we need is a PDF/HTML copy of the flight plan. That's it. Like we have now. Just forget the paper. We sign the FDRA via ACARS.

But instead we have to buy some new software/program and be retrained.

Simple is better.

Our current flight plan is antiquated. I welcome something new

I thought the latest I saw was Q4, hopefully you’re correct but I’m not optimistic.

I thought I saw June for the first trials. I admittedly haven't been paying attention

Q3 this year. Some overlap with paper for a while.
