Unrealistic to expect that out of pilots. Last time I called in fatigued, it was most obvious fatigue call ever, yet the captain refused to back me and even went out of his way to make sure duty pilot knew he was good to go. It was obvious he was ****ed about my decision but I didn't really care because I've been here so long. No way a new hire would have stood his ground.

Unfortunately, I believe you are quite wrong with your prognostication. (Not that I really want to repeat the last few summers). This administration is hell-bent on getting us into a war with Russia. Our manning problem will fix itself once ticket prices skyrocket. We will be lucky if we don’t furlough/UNA once again!

You know who was pushing Biden to have a stronger response to the invasion? I'll give you a hint: not his own party.

I never said the Republicans were innocent in the war push. The Washington establishment wants this war. The career politicians of both parties want it. The question I have is why? To make them all some more money now that the big pharma vaccines are bust? What good will it do for Mr and Mrs average American?

I reject that this is driven 100% by career politicians. Certainly there is an aggressive faction in the Republican party. But I reject that anyone wants to go to war with Russia. It is a lose-lose scenario. And not going to war will likely lead to further destabilizion of both Europe and Asia.
Poor old Joe Biden just doesn’t realize he is the President of the United States, and has the power along with the democrat-controlled house and senate to shut this all down……. I guess I better just go buy an electric car…. |
