I’ve had mine be a little less due to an adjustment that occurred after the end of the month (end of month RRPY). My time card was correct after the adjustment and I was paid correctly, but the PAS never updated. Maybe you could check the new transparent pay app? Oh wait….

Asked for the LOC turned on for rwy9L this morning and was told no?!? 73N. Their reasoning? Someone might dial the wrong localizer, 9L instead on 9R. Good thing we got that HUD for low vis takeoff /s. RVR was 800 and dropping for whatever it’s worth.

The reason to bid 2 weeks in the Primary bid round is that all the summer and major holiday weeks are usually gone after primary bids. So if you want 2 weeks in these periods you better bid them in the first round. When I first hit 5 weeks I realized the round 5 vacations were for the most part undesirable so I started bidding 2 weeks in primary - which meant I was done in round 4 which was fine. Of course if you cant hold summer/holidays the point is moot.

To be fair at one point it was even below CAT III. The dispatcher quoted me 100 RVR. I've never seen it that low in ATL. Luckily we were waiting it out on the ground at our departure airport since we conveniently had an autopilot MEL that limited us to CAT II. Not that it mattered too much because at that point no one was getting in, and once it was finally good for us it quickly burned off

They are doing more flying with less people. They said in the “Approach” podcast they would be “funding” growth by raising ALV’s. Generally, it means less flexibility and less reserve available (and thus more reserve utilization, unless you roll Thunder, which may be tough right now with IA’s > GS’s. )
