Intel on the incident or intel on the passenger filming? There was a story about the incident on Deltanet a while back. Details to follow after the investigation maybe.

What do you want to know? The article covers pretty much everything

is this correct? I don’t see that spelled out in the delayed implementation but I could see it working that way. I was rerouted an after August 1st but the trip started in July. Old rules wouldn’t get me anything but new rules would.

Rules are based on the rules in effect on the first day of the trip.

That’s what I thought, but couldn’t find it in writing.

I was wondering what happened beyond a hard landing. How long until fire trucks arrived? How big the fire was, did they evacuate the whole plane? And then I found this: https://avherald.com/h?article=50c9253c&opt=0

This is wrong assumption.

Wait for investigation results.

Never heard of a hard landing causing a blown tire. Anti-skid malfunction, yes. I'll wait for the report though.

But we can have a scenario-based discussion about it. So question for the Forum:

Ignoring any knowledge about the mentioned incident and generically speaking, if you are on the ground and receiving reports of a brake on fire and emergency vehicles on the way, are you evacuating or waiting for Fire trucks?
