LOL Yeah, that's the reason.

I know I don't do it anymore because of the behavior of management in reinterpreting a contract less than a year old.

So we'll file it under the same folder as the disappearance of pre-arrival meals on ocean crossings: Spite.

See skyhub if you want the play-by-play from Jason Z on this issue.
i am searching the contract and can’t find a reference. I remember there being one in the old contract regarding ocean crosses and deviating. Are they using this reference for all deviations?

I love to pile on JZ as much as anyone, but it should be noted on this issue that ALPA agrees with the company that the new dh rules only apply to scheduled DH. Not deviate. Not travel to training.

There are plenty of areas where the company (and the previously mentioned middle manager) have been taking liberties with the new PWA, but this isn’t one of them.

There still is a specific reference for delta one on deviations 8.E.13.

At least on that one, they are actually saving $. Probably something like $6.95 per pilot per international fliight. Roughly the equivalnet of one GS per year for the whole pilot group.

Contracts don't expire but no, I didn't until we voted. Then started wearing my hat and doing pleasantries again. Now that they are being petty, I'm no longer doing anything.

You do realize that you aren't hurting management one little bit.
