I didn’t when I called in sick. I didn’t press to test as I was getting close to verification limit at the time and I preferred not to use sick.

I’ve never called in sick during training but I’ve been told we are NOT paid for sick calls over training (CQ, IQ, ect.)

I got covid over a CQ. I was pay protected, but that might have been part of the covid LOA.

I know Covid paid for CQ and IQ, but I don’t think regular sick does

What’s the current status of using the rest facility as negotiated in the new contract?

I know there was a hold up on the company’s part, no clue if settled yet.

There was an APB months ago with training for all of the rest facilities in all the fleets. I was under the impression that by acknowledging that in Aerodocs we were good to go.

Or do you mean the flight attendant bunks?

the contract says any rest facility. The company is making stuff up and saying it only applies to pilot rest facilities.

we are legal to occupy pilot rest facilities on the 330 and 350. Even though it is permitted my our CBA, It is currently against company policy to occupy the FA rest facilities on 767s. It was one of the subjects of BP’s “it’s not a violation until an arbitrator says it’s a violation” email.

You may want to look into that. I’ve had it happen twice for CQ over the years, and got paid (and debited sick time) both times.

I don't wait for the hotel fire alarm to do that, but that's just me.
