I would reread the contract proposal. 6 am first day trips for reserves not a concession? Increased RJ gross weight not a concession?

Is that how we judge a win these days? We just keep what we have and consider it a win so long as there aren’t any concessions? That’s pretty sad if so.

SCOPE!!!!

it allows a higher MTOW for 50 seat RJs, which in turn allows them to reconfigure CRJ700s to 50 seats to replace aging and passenger hated -200s and E 145s. The CRJ550 is extremely operationally limited at 65,000 MTOW. This TA raises MTOW to 69,XXX

it also allows the company to assign reserves earlier on day 1 (6am I think)

Couple dumb a$$ reps during TA2015 “said” this is why they voted yes to sending it out. Complete weak move.

Honest question. As much as I poke I think you can evaluate a TA like this honestly.

What would you vote on this? You have pointed out 2 concessions. One has huge cascading effects.

I just reviewed their TA reference guide and it reads like a sales job. Plenty of industry leading blah blah blah. The sad thing is their 2022 payrates are barely more than our 2019 rates via C-15.
Very disappointing, we can only hope the UAL guys shoot it down resoundingly. I am pretty sure this would never pass here.

sadly, we have waaaay too many naive nubes just happy to be here. I fear this POS will squeak by, largely because of the ignorance and apathy of a large segment of our pilot group. Can we dust off Dubinsky and bring him back? I’m embarrassed to be a United pilot today.
