How big of pay raises would you say would be acceptable?
Do you think that since airlines haven't been profitable in 3 years that goal is achievable?
How realistic would such target be in the eyes of an NMB mediator or arbitrator?
What's the chance that aiming for too much results in 1-2-3+ more years of negotiations with 0 improvements?

Getting a 20% raise each year, for 3 years, would be excellent. Don't see that happening. A 20% raise averaged out over the next 3 years in these inflationary times is barely breaking even each and every year.
So yes, I agree it's a small pay "raise" if you can call it one.
