There was some discussion about it in the Contract thread. Hard to talk about it without more details.

I hope the rumors on this one are wrong. I can't imagine voting for a small pay raise like that if it's true.

I totally get what you're saying but...

How big of pay raises would you say would be acceptable?

Do you think that since airlines haven't been profitable in 3 years that goal is achievable?

How realistic would such target be in the eyes of an NMB mediator or arbitrator?

What's the chance that aiming for too much results in 1-2-3+ more years of negotiations with 0 improvements?

If airlines are profitable negotiating going forward is easier. But yeah, we arent getting pay raises if delta isnt profitable.

Isn’t it a 20% raise over a three year period?

Getting a 20% raise each year, for 3 years, would be excellent. Don't see that happening. A 20% raise averaged out over the next 3 years in these inflationary times is barely breaking even each and every year.

So yes, I agree it's a small pay "raise" if you can call it one.

Only non cons get pay raises when the company isn’t profitable?

Those pay jumps happened when the company pushed into the black. Yes?
