Our non-union flight attendants get better raises than that.

Wow.

That would fail hard here. And get every rep who voted for it recalled before they can say, "PEB!"

I'm honestly shocked they agreed to that. There must be some MASSIVE QOL and soft money gains if that's true.

Or they're playing the long game knowing that if we agree to stronger rates their snap-up provision will kick in and they get the best of both worlds, better pay and better QOL gains.

Shocked as well. '21 ss cola was 6%(5.9). 22 will be higher. The aip is a significant loss of purchasing power compared with govt cola over the next 5 years. Must have huge soft credit gains in the aip.

Interesting strategy by their MEC. They are using all of their leverage/contract costing on soft items knowing that the pay rates they are setting for the industry will be unacceptable to the pilots of other carriers. By having first mover status they now force the other pilot groups to spend the majority of their leverage/costing on setting an appropriate pay table, instead of scheduling/soft gains. So, they presumably will end up with both. Kind of eye opening, I never thought pattern bargaining could be used to influence and take advantage of other pilot groups. I always thought the target was the company in pattern bargaining.

Agree this would never pass at Delta.

Nah if it's really 15% over 4 all they did was create negative pressure. Dumb move.

That's because Delta pilots generally aren't smart enough to look past the pay tables when making a decision.

No way for me. I'm expecting 25-30% on day 1. 14% over 5 years doesn't cut it, and I can't imagine any major airline pilot group would vote yes for that.
