Some have chosen to consider the 2019 raise noncons received as an "additional" raise but it's nothing more than the yearly raise pilots got earlier in the year. So instead of looking at it with honesty and realize that pilots just get their annual raise before the noncons...some are considering it as an additional raise that pilots didn't get.

The reality is that since after bankruptcy pilots have always received their annual raises before the noncons and have done substantially better than noncons percentage wise. (we can go down this road again but...I feel like it's beating a dead horse)

I dont think Sailing is one individual, more than likely a few over the years.

Or 2-3 months before pilots. Noncon raise in fall of 2018, pilots Jan 2019, noncons fall of 2019 pilots ZERO Jan 2020 and beyond.

You can have your opinion, but you can't have your own facts. I can give you a breakdown of all the raises received by noncons and pilots from bankruptcy to today if you'd like but...we've already gone down that road.

I think the only thing to point out is that any pilot raise was negotiated via contract. As we are in C2015 all raises have been exhausted and there will be virtually none until the next contract, whenever that is passes. So its not a true annual raise perpetually...

United 8K from yesterday states that revenue in Q2 will be up 23%-25% compared to 2019. Kirby in an interview with CNBC stated that they can’t raise prices fast enough to keep from selling out and capacity is the limiting factor to growth, not fuel costs.

They’re also forecasting CASM-ex to be up 16%-17% and still planning a healthy profit.

I’m guessing they see the writing on the wall and want to lock the pilots into a good raise now before the TRASM increase reaches ludicrous levels. If by the end of summer TRASM is up over 30%, then the raises due would be epic!

Except noncons got theirs in the fall of 2018 so they are 3 months ahead of pilots. Which dates back to 2016 when they got a raise just before and just after the pilots for 2X that year, and retained the 18% raise that was to compensate for the removal of profit sharing. Which they got back when the pilots retained theirs. We could go back and forth but it is a fact that noncons have received 2 4% pay raises since the last pilot raise and are getting a third June 1. 20 minutes more pay per flight so and extra hour on a 3 leg day which translates to 10-15 percent on NB domestic. I'm happy for you, I really am. I just point out that we are overdue with no end in sight.
