DTW320 is going to new hires… You don’t need seniority. Your lack of knowledge when it came to bidding is your fault only, not the company’s. You have the right to change bases as many times as you want, multiple times a year. If you hate your current category then change it. That simple

So you’ve been here for over 4 years? You must have been awarded the 350 in ATL or DTW! That’s awesome. Now you have good trips and you can’t complain. If you didn’t bid it, then you cannot complain for a second about NB trips.

I hear ya there but that’s still twice a year. We’ve been complain about NB trips for a couple years now so isn’t that 4 opportunities to change bases? Detroit trips have been pretty good for a few months now. That’s two AEs to make a change. I look through every bid pack at every base every month and I make decisions based on trends. Detroit was the better option so I made the change a few months ago and now I am very happy. Everyone has that chance. That’s all I’m saying!

Yea, new hires can fly those trips. After a year or two, you have 1,500-2,000 pilots below you then you can bid better trips or a better category. I would say 80% of trips are good overall. So suck it up for a couple years. The 350 went to 11,500. So anyone in the company right now who is 11,500 and higher can no longer complain about NB trips, right?

This is great, the get senior enough strategy. Didn’t they pull that lesson from QCQ last year. You must have done your training early because by the time I got around to it, it was pulled. They must have had some gems in there that they don’t want out over this summer. Better yet just give us your bid.

I’m not NYC 320, but my mentees are….it’s called empathy.
‘Just get more senior’…did they give you credit for writing the QCQ slide?
