the VEOP itself is the “one time deal” he is talking about. The VEOP and it’s payments were a one time deal and thus should not be subject to any retro reconciliation.

at least that is how I read it.
thanks.....

If they worked one minute after Jan 1 2020, DAL owes them money. Period. There is no question about that.

What is this 'one time deal' you are talking about?
Delta owes us all a lot of things but we work under the PWA. Where in there does it say DAL owes us or anyone else back payments? And even you yourself said it:

With each passing day, retro becomes farther and farther away from reality.
Even at most regional agreements ALPA was smart enough to negotiate a yearly raise after contract expiration - the Delta PWA has nothing saying we are owed anything. Like I said earlier, I expect chump change for retro. How much do you think these guys (or any of us) are gonna get? A few thousand bones. This conversation is pointless when considering the small amount of money we are ultimately going to see.

Can you give examples of regional contracts with raises after the amendable date?

I know Air Wisconsin has (had) one. I believe it is 1.5% per year every year. Idk if they still have it but they did under their old contract.

Endeavor had (not sure now) it and it was based on other regional contracts. So it wasn't just some random one off, multiple places had it as part of their agreement.

So it was a me too clause not a inflation clause? We have a me too clause also. The problem is it’s not much good when your always at the top.

It wasn’t a me too clause. I meant it was modeled off of other regional contracts. But it was a stand alone yearly guaranteed raise above the yearly pay scales.

Name one thing that's only up 16% since 2020? Most things are 2x that.
