1.5X is a concession. If line holder got PB days there would never be enough pilots for trip coverage, banked PB days on the other hand...

Sailing's really on a roll with this sudden demand for reserve concessions on multiple threads.

Like I said on the other thread, "Funny" how the guys who think reserves need to take concessions are also the guys least likely to sit reserve. Sailing's "friends on the 4th floor" must have mentioned this need to him at the Peachtree CC last weekend.

And yeah, of course the union wants higher reserve utilization. None of them are going to sit reserve either. JA needs to keep all the senior guys happy by stealing cookies from the reserves so he can run for that sweet National job. Corruption at its finest.

Another CPI increase ... 8.5% YoY. It's going to take a large number on signing date just to make up for inflation.

I have not asked for a single reserve concession. I am simply telling you what the company might be looking for and why they might feel justified. As far as your comments on reserve no single section of the contract has been improved more than reserve. Nothing else is even close. Your comment about the union is utterly unfounded in every way.

you didn’t phrase it as what the company *might* be looking for, but what they *are* looking for.

The company feels it’s unreasonable pilots can go months without flying in a category raining greenslips.”

Funny how you always seem to be so keyed into what management wants, and furthermore feel the need to be their spokesman to us doing their job of lowering expectations. In case you haven't noticed that's 90% of your posts here. Give it a rest already.

My comment about the union is well founded. Many of us are tired of ALPA corruption and inaction. Instead of action, we get silly hats off campaigns and a 3rd set of lanyards. Why don't you tell us what your management buddies think of the hats off campaign? I bet they're shaking in their golf spikes.

You must have missed the president’s briefing and posts from every blue check on Twitter. It is 0%. They redefined 8.5 to 0. So we don’t really need a raise.

Thats not how that works. It’s not “another” increase. In fact, with the CPI lower this month, the required raise to keep up with inflation overall would be smaller. Just saying.

ummmm, what? Up 8.5% YOY and .3% from June. It's slowing but still going up, so the longer for a contract the more it takes to keep up with inflation.

Smaller than what? Inflation is up 8.5% yoy, that is huge. Basically we are still at 40 year highs. Small is not a word that should be used in regards to anything related to inflation right now.
