30% Raise DOS and 25% DC
#291
Anyone have the faintest idea of what the current “ask” is from our negotiation committee?
20% DOS would’ve been fantastic 3 years ago.
Now, not so much. Inflation has changed everything.

However, reading between the lines of all the communications - official, intrapersonal, and at the recent picket - the status reps, negotiating chair, and the MEC chairman are all keenly aware of the 'cost' of inflation. In addition, multiple 'players' have insisted this is two contracts in one, and that gains (to include pay) will be negotiated accordingly.
My expectations are very high, to include a DOS raise approaching 30% and retro back to the amendable date that at the very least matches inflation.

That is the reality for Regionals right now..
Horizon Air TA coming highest pay in industry
1st year Cap: Now 81.42 --> DOR 148.18 --> 151.41(23) --> 153.68 (24)
DOR = 82% raise
We sure better know what we need to do.

Well…this thread escalated quickly.
Back to the topic, 30% and 20% should be the min going forward.
Honestly the 30% feels low, and unless the IRS bumps up the company’s contribution limits, anything over 20% feels like negotiating a back door pay raise to the first number.

All the excess from the 25% will flow into the MBCBP .

x +1% is that company's rate and then 1% added, not their gain ratio plus.
