Wake Up - Seattle LEC Election

Did he? He voted no. What support did LOA 20-04 get in C54? Did it have majority support? What was the actual vote? If it had clear support, then he ignored the will of his council and appeased a small number of vocal of no voters. Is that what we want, a rep the ignores the desires of their council??
If yours (and others) posts were meant to get him ousted, I think you've misfired big time. I think these threads helped his cause.

What ? I could care less if he wins C54. Not my council. I'm asking about the why......all these people defending a vote (and rep) because they agree with his vote. But if the majority of his council voted in favor, why did he ignore the will of his council?

So let's appease vocal minority of no voters, instead of the will of the collective of his council? Thats what a rep is "supposed" to do? I beg to differ....

I don’t agree with Wes’s vote on 20-04. I spoke with him at the time and he defended his position with solid logic. Many other votes have happened and Wes voted in line with my thinking. One to include not ousting an MEC chairmen that was getting under the skin of our CEO. I am afraid to find out what being agreeable produces, if it ever does produce results.
Wes has always listened to my input, answered me emails, and shot me straight explaining which way he was voting.

The company ran the displacements before the early out. They brought the pain in order to extract from our contract.
The company could have worked with the union five months before this agreement when furloughs may have actually occurred, they didn’t.
This agreement could have been rolled into 20-3 but it wasn’t. Why is that? Maybe because 20-3 was going to fail on its own without the provisions of 20-4. The company saw that, then they released 20-4 before 20-3 closed.
That’s self respect…
