Wake Up - Seattle LEC Election
#41
Woah, wait.
where did you get that data? I asked what the vote was in my own LEC when it came out. I was told that under no circumstances would individual council vote numbers ever be released. Too sensitive and divisive. Never happening.
Yet here we are. Michelle Jacobsen's campaign appears to have obtained that data from someone within the "machine" who copied it at the time (Jay Coweison?) and is attempting to weaponize it.
Who is the real "machine" (to use your word) here? Clearly it's you, Jacobsen, the leaker(s), and whichever hatchet people stood up her anonymous hit-job website. In the middle of a highly consequential strike vote where unity is crucial! Incredible.
I guess there is an alternative. You (and she) don't actually have the data, and are making the numbers up.
So which is it? Unauthorized leakers or desperate liars? I think we're done here.

Sorry Bravo, Seattle isn’t going to turn into a surrender early and often operation. Moakism is dead and certainly has no place in Seattle.
The easy choice isn’t always the best.
Why do you think that 20-4 was released to ratification before 20-3 closed? Because 20-3 was garbage and was going to fail. It barely passed, even with 20-4 being presented.
At the time Wes voted no to 20-4, was there any risk that it wouldn’t have been passed on to membership for ratification? Do you think anyone in the “room where it happened” thought 20-4 wasn’t going to membership? I tend to think his vote was symbolic and he was certain it wouldn’t affect the outcome anyway.
Do you know what management thinks when EVERYONE votes yes to something? They offered us to much and next time won’t be as generous. For them a 51% approval is the ultimate win, not 100%.

The person, Michelle, that you’re advocating for said she would have also voted “No,” given constituent feedback at the time.
Doesn’t this make her out of touch as well?
Your candidate has absolutely no platform on which to stand. Please go back to your old username (the one prior to this one that was created more than 3 days ago), and provide useful commentary on subject matter you’re familiar with.

Well I can see the angry vocal minority Deadzoners are
Out in force defending a Rep that voted to furlough UNA’s. Omg I cannot WAIT until they’re all retired….and at the rate Wes & his crowd are holding up a TA..they’ll never see a contract.

How are you suggesting Wes is ‘holding up a TA?’ By not lessening the ask? I’d suggest calling Wes and asking your questions to him directly, instead of throwing stones when you have zero clue what you’re talking about.

Haven’t heard a good faith argument why anyone would vote against 20-04. We would be significantly worse off as a pilot group had it not passed.
NO lower GS trigger
NO lower TLV
NO improvements to ARCOS
All permanent improvements to the contract that we gave up practically nothing to obtain.

Every day that passes, the cost of the contract to the company that will garner a yes vote from me goes up.
