If the other provisions affecting WS and 150% above ALV are instituted, you can kiss RS GS and PBs goodbye.

150% WS is very similar to how Endeavor ran when I was there. 200% GS still happened all the time. You’ll find that senior people will utilize the 150% WS by bidding a min credit line then basically swapping trips to achieve the best pay/days off balance.

If the ALV is around 72-75 hours, you’d have to have 4-5 GS days on your X days to make around 100 hours. Then you’d have to get every on call day off. You are a master bidder! And then to have them short staffed on your X days, but then so over staffed they don’t have to use you on any of your on call days. And you can be selective on which GS to take and they assign most everything the night before!
My category isn’t remotely close to this gold mine.

Is there any possibility that the PB day threat is a distraction on scope?
Between this leak, and a rumor from a union member, the global scope agreement is to basically have no scope on international flying. In exchange we’ll have some mechanism that a certain number of pilots will be paid as widebody pilots depending on the number of widebody pilots at peers.
Isn’t this just a mechanism to shrink our pilot group? If all of our international flying can be outsourced how many pilots can we eliminate when the 767s get parked?
PB days and GS on reserve will no doubt be potential NO vote issues for me but I’m wondering if we’re being distracted from the scope stuff. They’ll keep us focused on PB days then give it back while pulling one on us on scope.
