SLC

Good morning,
I am currently awaiting a class date, seems it’ll be mid January since I interviewed back in August. My goal is to be SLC based but am not sure which airframe to make my top preference on the class drop. Are there significant differences with trips, staffing, QOL and such between the 737, 320, or the 220 in SLC?

They are fat on 220 FOs in SLC so if getting paid to stay at home is your goal, 220 reserve is the way to go. The trips are less fatiguing than the 737/320 if you want a line. The only drawback is that the 220 only goes to a handful of places so there is not much variety.

Solitude is probably the closest. Be mindful of traction laws and ridiculous canyon traffic on powder days

You can take the UTA ski bus to Brighton or Solitude. Same route, Brighton is 5 min more up the road, both are great.

Bid 73/320 and you’ll either have a shot in class or within 1 or 2 monthly AE tops. 220 is tough because of the fleet problems they’re having but seems they still backfill positions even on that.
